be natural
In this civil war, my course is lost.
I figured I’d take another chance but it’s gone
And now, all hope is lost with me.
And though I dream, I don’t sleep calm.
I can’t afford to wait a second too long.
I know, full-well, what that could mean.
But, oh… The time is passing by. I’m falling even further behind.
I stay ahead of the time to flee my start.
And yeah… I’m counting seconds, losing my mind.
Don’t know what I expected to find.
I’m putting the pieces back to where they belong, this time.
This time, before I die, I’ll take the lunacy out of me.
And, I’ll be true to the real me and say no more.
‘Cause, yeah, you’d see if you were me
Then you would understand how it ends.
And you would change to a different man, for sure.
For sure, you would. Yeah, yeah.
I shut my eyes on what I’ve done.
It’s very clear to me, of what I’ve become:
No longer me, but more like you.
And, hatred’s here for what you’ve done.
I’ve done the same but now, I know of the pain it brings
And loneliness that comes.
It comes... just as the time is passing by.
I’m losing what is rightfully mine.
I’m staying out of your mind and out of your heart.
And, yeah… I’m counting seconds, losing my mind.
I never had expected to find
A ruined puzzle where every piece is mine.
It’s mine... Before I die, I’ll take the lunacy out of me.
And, I’ll be true to the real me and say no more.
‘Cause, yeah, you’d see, if you were me
Then you would understand how it ends.
And, you would change to a different man, for sure.
Yeah, you would, love. You’d see if you were me
Then you would understand.
And, you would change, yeah. For sure.
For sure, you would. Yeah, yeah... Yeah, yeah...
